Hi, I am getting married June 2nd and we are going to Disney World for our honeymoon. We have a Disney Vacation Club membership and have already booked our room. I was wondering if Disney will probably offer free dining plan for booking atleast 5 nights?

    Hi Nick,

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Disney World is a wonderful place to honeymoon as my husband and I did 18 years ago!

You can never be sure if Disney is going to offer free dining, free tickets or room promotions at any time of the year. However, even if Disney does offer free dining during this week, rooms booked using points with the Disney Vacation Club are not eligible to receive free dining. You can still purchase the Disney Dining Plan through Member Services to add to your vacation.

If you are looking at expenses, you will have to balance the free dining versus paying for a room. Depending on how many additional trips you will be taking, you might look at purchasing an annual pass and then adding Tables of Wonder. You would receive a discount on the annual pass and which makes you eligible to purchase Tables of Wonder for discount on your dining. I have done this prior to free dining and it was worth the money for my family especially dining at the signature restaurants.

    Wishing you a magical honeymoon!
