    Hello! Getting excited for our first trip!! We are driving down from Ontario, Canada. Since we will have our vehicle with us, we could drive to each of the parks. What do you recommend? Should we use our own vehicle or use Disney transportation? Thanks!!

    Personally, I'd drive. We frequently drive ourselves, and when we fly we often rent a car to use. I like having the ability to come and go at the exact moment I choose, and with 3 young children, I feel safer when they are buckled into car seats. I also found it much easier when they were small and in strollers to load strollers into my own vehicle than to fold them up on buses.

    That said, it really is a personal preference. I have never found Disney's transportation to be bad at all. I feel safe, and the travel times are very efficient. Occasionally we have had to wait a little too long, but this is certainly the exception and not the rule.

    Since you're unsure, I suggest you try out the Disney transportation on your first day and see what you think. You might enjoy the break from driving and navigating and prefer letting Disney do the work! If not, you're always free to drive the next day!
