    Getting excited! Only 12 days to go. Upgraded to Poly and not sure if we still have $ left for MVMCP. Will we be able to see the MVMCP fireworks from the Poly beach? Is it a "not worth missing" party? Don't want to say "I wish we spent the

    Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, Meredyth!  I don't blame you for getting excited! Twelve days will be here before you know it!  Honestly, I think your decision to upgrade to Disney's Polynesian Resort rather than purchasing tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the same choice I would have made. I absolutely love Disney's Polynesian Resort for its tropical theming, spacious guest room accommodations, great dining options, close proximity to Magic Kingdom Park, and monorail access to Epcot, Magic Kingdom Park, and the other Magic Kingdom Resorts. I am happy to tell you that guests can view Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season, which is shown during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, from the Polynesian beach area. My favorite place to watch the firework display is along the sidewalk where the music that accompanies Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season is piped into speakers from Magic Kingdom Park. Although Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a festive special event held at Magic Kingdom Park, you can still enjoy seeing the beautiful Castle Dream Lights on a different night that you will be visiting Magic Kingdom Park. I did enjoy this special event, but would not honestly say that it is a "can't miss" event, especially if it causes any financial stress. I hope this information eases your mind.
