We will be getting the dining plan for our trip in November. We currently have reservations at a few restaurants with others not using a dining plan. Will this be a problem? Can they split our checks so we can take advantage of our plan? Thanks!

Hi Kimberly! Some of my best Disney vacations have been the ones where we visited with other friends or family members. Walt Disney World is accustomed to dealing with larger parties, and it's not a problem to split checks at the restaurants so that each family or individual can use a different payment method. When the server arrives at your table, he'll ask if you're using the Disney Dining Plan, and you can tell him at that time how the checks should be divided and who'll be paying with the Dining Plan. Easy peasy!

Have a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
