Hi, we are getting the DDP and I was wondering if coffee drinks (like lattes) are included as a drink. I'm not a soda/juice drinker, but I do like to drink lattes. Could I get that instead if it is offered on the menu? Thanks!

Hi Kristin,  You are a girl after my own heart talking about lattes! I love a good latte and completely understand your dilemma, as I am not a juice or soda drinker either. Unfortunately, lattes are considered a "specialty drink" and do not qualify as a beverage on the Disney Dining Plan. The drinks that are included include non-alcoholic and non-specialty drinks. You can order regular coffee, hot chocolate, hot tea and iced tea as your beverage at meals or when using a snack entitlement. I also called Disney Dining to verify my information and the cast member I spoke with confirmed this. I have heard of people that reported being able to purchase lattes/coffee drinks in the past with the DIsney Dining Plan, but I believe that is a rarity and just depends on where you are and the cast member working. You are always more than welcome to ask, but please know that the cast member may not allow it.  I'm sorry if this was not the news you were hoping for. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you. Best wishes for a Magically Delicious Trip!
