Getting DDP for our stay in Sept (timeshare, so no free dining for us) and my now 9-yr old son will be turning 10 part way through our vacation. Do we pay for the child dining plan for him or the adult (which costs much more)? He's not a big eater. Thanks!

    Hi Josie!

For both the dining plan and for your park tickets, your son will be considered to be 9 yrs old. Disney uses the child's age at the start of a vacation as the age throughout the stay. If he's a light eater, and likes ordering off of the kid's menu - he'll have no trouble at all with the child's dining plan.

Hope this helps! Have a great vacation!!

PS. Happy (early) Birthday to him!!
