We're getting complimentary 4-day Park hopper passes through my company. Do we have to buy the 4-day Magic your way ticket in order for the park hopper passes to work? Or can we buy a 2-day Magic your way ticket and still use the Park Hopper passes? Thanks

Park hopping is an option that can be added to Magic Your Way park tickets.  If you are getting "4-day Park Hopper tickets" I am sure that these are 4-day Magic Your Way tickets, with the Park Hopper option already added.  If you only want to visit the parks for 4 days during your vacation, then you shouldn't need to buy any additional tickets.

If you want to visit for more than 4 days, you might be able to simply add more days to your tickets (this would be a MUCH cheaper option, since adding extra days to multiple day tickets can be as cheap as ~$3 per day once you get over 4 or 5 days), or you might have to buy separate tickets -- it really depends on the specifics of these complimentary tickets.  If it isn't clear on the wording of the tickets, you should ask someone at Guest Services at any of the parks once you arrive (or ask when you check-in at a Disney resort) to figure out if you can add days to these specific tickets.

The few times that I have had complimentary tickets, I was not able to add days to them, but needed to buy separate tickets for extra days. But, again, it really depends on the specific terms of the tickets that you are receiving.

If you buy normal (e.g. direct from Disney or a travel agent) 4-day Magic Your Way tickets with the Park Hopper option, you would be able to add up to 6 more days (a total of 10 days is the limit for a Magic Your Way ticket), and only pay the incremental cost of the last 6 days.

    Hope that helps. ºoº
