We are getting closer to booking our trip for the week of Christmas (12-24-08 thru 12-30-09) and are debating wether or not to go deluxe resort or moderate. We LOVED the Port Orleans Riverside, but we really want to stay at the Wilderness Lodge. Any advice

    Kris,

I really think the most important thing is to have a budget you are comfortable with.  Don't go to Disney and be 'resort poor', staying in a deluxe and having a shoestring budget as a result.  No matter how fabulous the resort may be, I think you'll regret having to cut back in order to be there.

With that said, if you can swing it I would definitely without a doubt stay at the Wilderness Lodge.  It's one of my favorite resorts all year long, and it is especially beautiful at Christmas.  The decor is breathtaking, and it has a fabulous holiday atmosphere.  You won't be disappointed!
