Hi Charlene!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It's wondEARful to see that my fellow panelists have been able to assist with past vacations to
Walt Disney World Resort and on
Disney Cruise Line! I'm hoping to do the same for your upcoming visit to
The Happiest Place on Earth!
In comparison to your past vacations, you'll find that things at Disneyland Resort are remarkably laid-back and you shouldn't find a huge difficulty in obtaining
Dining Reservations. While I know for Walt Disney World Resort you have to be online the moment Dining Reservations become available, you shouldn't find it's nearly as difficult when visiting Mickey Mouse on the West Coast. Dining Reservations can be made up to 60 days prior either
online, through the
Disneyland Mobile App or by calling. To make a Dining Reservation over the phone, you'll want to give a friendly Cast Member a call at 714-781-DINE between the hours of 7 AM and 9 PM Pacific Time. To make a reservation online or using the Disneyland Mobile App, there is unfortunately not a hard set time that it becomes available. It will certainly be possible by the time the phone lines open, but it can sometimes be a little before or even in the wee hours leading up around 3 AM. I usually check when I wake up (as I'm in the central time zone) and if it's not quite ready I'll continue to check back. If you aren't seeing any availability please do not immediately think it's completely booked, it's likely just not posted quite yet.
I hope this is helpful in planning your next Disney vacation, please come back and see us again real soon!
