Hi Kimberly, Thanks for getting back to me! In your opinion, I have a DD5 who loves fireworks and DD1, which hasn't really experienced them a whole lot, would you recommend the campfire or the dessert party? Thanks,

    Hi, Angele!

It's wonderful to hear back from you! Thanks for sending in your follow-up question about Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long and the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party.

My recommendation for your family would definitely be Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long. This is a fun family event that I think both of your daughters -- despite the difference in their ages -- would really enjoy. Also, the Campfire is located at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, so it's a nice opportunity to slow down and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks.

Since your 5-year-old is a fireworks fan, I suggest viewing Wishes (the evening fireworks display in Magic Kingdom Park) from the Hub area in front of Cinderella Castle. From this vantage point you'll have an excellent view of both the Celebrate the Magic castle projection show (which starts about 15 minutes prior to Wishes) and the pyrotechnics that follow. The Dessert Party is a nice event with a yummy pastry and sweet confections buffet, but you won't necessarily get a better view of Wishes.

You may want to factor into your decision the following considerations: the Campfire is complimentary (there is no charge) and does not require a reservation whereas the Dessert Party most definitely requires a reservation in advance and has an added cost attached.

Here's an extra tip for you: If you'll be visiting Epcot and Hollywood Studios during your December trip, be sure to stay to watch IllumiNations at Epcot and Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios -- both nighttime shows are must-sees and have spectacular special effects including pyrotechnic displays.

I hope this helps in planning your "Disney Time"! Please don't hesitate to write back with any additional questions -- I would be happy to assist you further with your itinerary.
