I am getting anxiety setting up my families magic bands and gave two diff reservations. Will someone be available to help me when I check in at the GF tomorrow?

    Royal greetings, Tonja!

A warm welcome to planDisney. We’re delighted you’ve stopped by with an excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question, and thrilled to hear you’ll be checking in at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa tomorrow! The countdown is almost over, and your enchanting escape is just about to begin. Now, before you arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth, let’s see if we can put your mind at ease about your upcoming vacation plans.

Tonja, I understand you may be experiencing difficulty setting up your family’s MagicBands. If you’ve already walked through the handy step-by-step setup instructions provided with your bands and watched the informational videos on the Walt Disney World Resort website, then I encourage you to reach out to the helpful Cast Members at the My Disney Experience, MagicBand & MagicBand+ phone line for additional assistance. Luckily, there are other ways for you to unlock the door to your Resort hotel room once you arrive on-site, Tonja. You may utilize the "unlock door" functionality in the My Disney Experience mobile app or request physical RFID cards for this purpose at the Front Desk when you arrive!

You've mentioned you have two different reservations. Tonja, since I'm not sure what reservation type you have duplicates of (i.e., dining, Resort hotel, Enchanted Extras Collection, etc.), I'm not able to provide suggestions on how to proceed. However, I do encourage you to reach out for help by dialing the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations phone line for assistance. Alternatively, a Cast Member at the Front Desk of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will likely be able to point you in the right direction upon your arrival tomorrow!

Tonja, I hope these suggestions help you to breathe a sigh of relief as you finalize the last few planning details ahead of your grand stay-cation. (To continue channeling your inner Zen, consider booking an appointment at The Grand Floridian Spa - I promise you won't regret it!) If you have any additional or follow-up questions, even once you arrive on-site, please feel free to stop back by planDisney again anytime. We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
