Hello and welcome, Cheryl!
Thank you for visiting planDisney with your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm excited to hear that you're hoping to book a stay at a Disney
Deluxe Resort hotel or
Deluxe Villa Resort! While any trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is special, staying in luxurious accommodations is a fantastic way to "plus up" your vacation. Cheryl, I'm here to help you book an especially memorable stay at the Walt Disney World Resort!
I understand that you're having difficulty finding Resort hotel availability because the website is defaulting to showing special offer rates. This is a common issue I've run into lots of times, so I've found a workaround that I'd like to share with you! Cheryl, first, be sure you're logged into your
My Disney Experience account. This will ensure you can view all special offers based on your affiliations! Then, enter your travel details in the "Build Your Vacation" menu on the Walt Disney World Resort website (e.g., travel dates, number of Guests and ages, etc.) and select "View Rates." Here, you'll likely see availability based on the current special offer for the travel dates selected. Select a Resort hotel of interest, whether it shows as available or not. This will take you to the "Room Rates" page for that Resort hotel, where you should see any available offers that match your selected dates and resort (i.e. Room, Package, etc.). Select "Room" to view "rack" rates for the selected Resort hotel, or select a different special offer, if available, to view that inventory. If you'd like to view all "rack" rate availability, navigate to the blue bar depicting your selected travel dates and Guest information, and select "Change." From the "All Resort Hotels" dropdown menu, scroll up and select "All Resort Hotels," then choose "Find a Room." This will return you to the Resort hotel search results and provide you with "rack" rate availability and inventory!
Cheryl, I'm happy to inform you that MagicBands and
MagicBand+ may be used across multiple visits! If your MagicBand is still functional and is linked to your My Disney Experience account, you'll be able to use it to enter the theme parks using your linked
theme park admission. I recommend checking to ensure that your MagicBand is properly connected to your account by navigating to "MagicBands and More" in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. There, you can verify that your band is active (if MagicBand) as well as paired to your device and up-to-date with any upgrades (if MagicBand+)!
I hope you've found this information helpful as you continue to plan an incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I'm wishing you a trip filled with magical memories, Cheryl! If you have any additional questions, please stop back by
planDisney again anytime. We're here to help make the planning process seamless and enjoyable!
Warm wishes,
Lauren
