    Generally what are the hours of the stores in downtown disney?We will be arriving at 6pm......and hope we could squeeze in some shopping!

    Most of the stores in Downtown Disney are open from 9:30 am to 11:30 pm.  Looks like you might have an opportunity to hit the shops, before you hit the hay. 

    I think Downtown Disney is an excellent option for an arrival day or early evening, since it is a flexible and free activity (although it can end up being very expensive if you aren't careful to not go overboard on the souvenirs!), and still has plenty of Magic sprinkled throughout the area to make you think "Pinch me, I'm at Disney World!"
