Greetings, April, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with this important question. I'm happy to say that
Walt Disney World Resort strives to be a magical place of inclusion. As a matter of fact, Inclusion is one of the valued
Five Keys that Cast Members ensure for guests at all Disney parks. Nothing makes me happier than seeing changes that make everyone feel welcome. But when you've gotta go, you've gotta go, am I right? So let's take a peek at the restroom situation at Walt Disney World Resort.
Although there are no restrooms specifically marked "Gender Neutral," I'm happy to say that there are many restrooms available to everyone throughout the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. These restrooms are typically single-stall rooms designated as Companion Restrooms, and anyone is welcome to use those facilities. To find where these restrooms are located, open your
My Disney Experience Mobile App and tap the map icon at the bottom of the screen. Then tap the down arrow at the top and choose Restrooms. From there, I like to tap Show List in the upper right and look for the phrase "Companion Restroom" from the list. A bonus tip is to tap on the restroom you're interested in finding and then choose walking directions. How convenient is that!
Many people love stopping by the Tangled-themed restroom in
Magic Kingdom Park, and I love
searching for Pascal in that area. But since that restroom can be popular, I tend to head to Tomorrowland to enjoy the quieter bathrooms in the Rockettower Plaza Stage near Space Mountain. A Companion Restroom is also available there, and as long as there's no show on the stage, it's pretty peaceful back there.
April, I hope your next visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is full of love and inclusivity. We all need more of those in our lives! Thanks again for stopping by
planDisney, where everyone is always welcome.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
