What is the gate number for the bus station at Magic kingdom for coronado springs? Trying to decide whether to get all stars or coronado springs but if the bus gate is as far as all star’s from magic kingdom, then it’ll be a deal breaker

Welcome back to planDisney, Jeremy! You'll be returning for a Walt Disney World Resort adventure soon, so I bet you're getting excited. My family would have our suitcases packed and ready by now; we're a bit eager! We're also fans of Disney Resort Transportation, so let's look at how the bus pickups from Magic Kingdom Park will work during your visit.

It's probably my imagination, but no matter which Disney Resort Hotel I book, its bus stop always has the longest walk! I've also noticed that the order of pickups at the theme parks often changes, so I'm afraid it's a bit of a moving target. I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who said the pickup order is never set in stone. But I did a little more digging and have additional intel to share.

My pal Nimmy and I visited Disney's Coronado Springs Resort last month, and since she is a planDisney panelist extraordinaire, she snapped a photo of the bus locations at Magic Kingdom Park. When we were there, Coronado Springs was at stop 11, and Disney's All-Star Resorts were located at pickups 28, 30, and 32. So, if that order is the same during your visit, it looks like Coronado Springs will be a shorter walk.

While my husband and I enjoy staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort as a couple, we've spent many family visits at the All-Star Resorts. Some additional details to consider would be the theming at each one. I think Coronado Springs is more laid-back and quiet, while the All-Star Resorts can be boisterous and playful. My son's favorite was Disney's All-Star Sports Resort, but now that he's older, we all prefer the more grown-up vibe at Coronado Springs.

Most Moderate Resorts offer a fitness center and Table Service dining options, and the Lost City of Cibola Pool at Coronado Springs is fabulous! But remember that Coronado Springs also has an internal bus system which will add to your travel time. It all depends on your budget and what you're looking for in your stay!

Jeremy, I hope I've helped you decide which magical resort will be your home away from home. Please stop by planDisney anytime, and have a wonderful vacation!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
