Hi Karen,
Welcome to planDisney! While it is not exactly the same scenario, we dine at Disney World regularly with a list of allergies, and they have always been super accommodating, even during a special event like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! I took a look at the
Foodie Guide on the Official Disney Parks Blog and it looks like some options could work for you without modifications.
If I am looking for allergy-friendly food or food that can be easily modified,
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe is often my first stop. During Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, they will be serving a Cheese and Chile Tamale. I have had multiple versions of this dish, and it is always delicious. The thing I like the most about it is they are able to leave things off and make modifications. It can easily contain only shredded meat, rice, and beans. They are great about modifying menu items for dietary restrictions at this restaurant and often will let you get a plain hamburger here if you want something simple.
Another option for something simple and lighter is
Pinocchio Village Haus. It is centrally located and will be serving flatbread pizzas during the event. The Baked Brie Flatbread and Lasagna Flatbread look delicious; if I could eat them, I would be there! I also love this restaurant because you can dine overlooking "it's a small world" for the ultimate view!
Whenever you are at Disney World, make sure to utilize the My Disney Experience app for
Mobile Food and Beverage Ordering. At most quick service locations, you can scroll to the bottom for allergy-friendly options that are often plainer and easier to modify. If you don't see what you want, don't hesitate to stop at the front and ask the cast member at the register for options. They are super helpful and are great about modifying for dietary needs!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
