Hi there, Michael! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out and allowing us to help you plan your upcoming visit to Disneyland Resort!
Disneyland Resort has begun reopening to the public and we could not be more excited! Guests that are California residents may now visit both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. There have been a few changes you may want to keep in mind for your upcoming visit, though. Some of these include enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. Guests ages two and up will also be required to wear a face-covering throughout their visit.
I am happy to report that all attractions should be open at
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge during your trip this month! This means you will be able to pilot the Millennium Falcon on
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and join the Resistance in their battle against the First Order on
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! You will also have the opportunity to sample some of the local cuisines such as the famous
Blue Milk and shop inside of unique boutiques.
It is also important to note that you will need a
theme park reservation before entering either theme park! Guests may make their reservations as soon as they have purchased their theme park ticket and it is highly recommended that you do this as soon as possible. Availability can go quickly due to everyone’s excitement over Disneyland Resort reopening to the public! It is also recommended that you check
theme park reservation availability prior to buying your theme park tickets to verify that the theme park you would like to visit has openings!
I hope you have a magical time visiting the distant planet of Batuu during your trip to Disneyland Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as well!
