@FWL in Dec. non park day will have family visiting. Parking fee to leave car at resort and everyone use Disney transportation all day? Won’t leave til 10 or 10:30pm How to avoid overnight fee? Where to park if we visit boardwalk.

Hello there, Catherine! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks so much for stopping back by and taking the time to submit another wonderful Walt Disney World Resort question!

That sounds like quite a fun day of adventure you have planned! I am all about taking "non-park days" while visiting Walt Disney World Resort and exploring all of the amenities offered outside of the parks! One shining example of places to visit outside of the parks is Disney's Boardwalk. This charming area captures the whimsical feeling of historic Coney Island in the form of carnival games, unique eats, adorable shopping boutiques, and engaging entertainment. My family and I can seriously spend an entire day at Disney's Boardwalk and never run out of things to do!

At all Disney Resort hotels, day Guests receive complimentary standard parking for the duration of their visit. This means, if you intend on visiting Disney's Boardwalk Inn and the adjacent Disney's Boardwalk, you and your family can park your car at Disney's Boardwalk Inn to experience the amenities available at this Disney Resort hotel. However, if you intend on exploring other areas of Walt Disney World Resort, you will need to move your vehicle to a different parking location.

If you would like to avoid this, I would highly recommend using the Minnie Van Service! This personal ride service will transport Guests throughout Walt Disney World Resort and is easily operated through the Lyft app. Minnie Vans can accommodate up to six Guests and are operated exclusively by Disney Cast Members. Using this service would allow you and your family to arrive promptly at Disney's Boardwalk and then utilize complimentary forms of Disney Transportation to arrive at your other destinations without needing to move your vehicle!

Have fun continuing to plan for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
