Going to FW for a trail ride. 3 of us are riding and my dh and ds would like to fish while we ride. How can they do this, where should they go and how do they get there? I know we register for the trail ride at enterance. Thanks!

    Hi Lynn,

What a great way to spend the day at the Walt Disney World Resorts! I love the idea of taking time out of the parks and doing something different.

Your husband and son can go fishing at Fort Wilderness. They have two options. The first is dockside fishing which is located at the Bike Barn. Simply head to this location and rent a pole and go fishing.

The second option is a guided fishing tour from the Fort Wilderness Marina. You will need to call 407-939-BASS and make a reservation or submit a form online. To get to this location, they can take a boat from Magic Kingdom or take a bus to Fort Wilderness and then take the bus from the Outpost Depot to the Settlement Depot.

You can ask a cast member for assistance on getting to either one of these locations.

    Wishing you a magical day!
