Hiya Michael,
Welcome to planDisney and we appreciate you sending in your question. Oh, boy! You must be planning to visit Walt Disney World enough times in the upcoming year to consider purchasing an annual park pass. How exciting!
Let's look at the options for you to buy a full year
Disney theme parks pass. Although Florida residents have a few different types of annual passes available to them, as a non-Florida resident you would likely purchase the
Disney Incredi-Pass. This is a "deluxe" Disney World pass where no black out dates apply, which allows you to visit one or more Walt Disney World Resort theme parks in a day. You will need to make a park reservation before visiting the first park, but you can also hold up to 5 days of reservations at one time.
Although prices are subject to change, the base price of an adult Disney Incredi-Pass is currently $1,629.00, plus tax. There are also a couple of add-ons to choose from like unlimited PhotoPass photo downloads or the Water Park and Sports Option. The clock won't start ticking on your annual pass expiration date until the first date you are able to actually use it, which is considered the activation date.
You'll also want to take into consideration the other perks that come along with
being an Annual Passholder. These aspects sprinkle some extra pixie-dust, as well as contribute to your Disney savings. Although I only visit a couple of times per year, I too have looked into purchasing an annual pass before. It comes with some awesome benefits like
Annual Passholder discounts on things like Disney dining, merchandise purchases, and even some terrific Special Offers on Disney Resort room discounts. If the math is mathing for you on this... I vote two Mickey thumbs way up!
Michael, I hope this helps and that you are able to score an Incredi-Pass for all your Incredi-ble upcoming Disney adventures! Please feel free to send your questions to us at planDisney if we can assist with anything further.
To infinity and beyond!
Tami
