Welcome to planDisney, Beth! We're so excited to have you here and hope that we can help.
When planning for a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation I LOVE creating a new itinerary for my family even before I reserve our Guest room! While we've been to Walt Disney World dozens of times, it seems like there's always a new attraction to experience, a new snack I just HAVE to try, or a character sighting that I've never seen before. I love taking a look back at maps I brought home from previous visits and begin planning out my days for our next trip.
If you're wondering where to get Park maps while you're on property visiting the Resort, they are very readily available at the entrances of each Park and most Guest Services locations. Feel free to take a few extras in case one gets lost or wet or you want to take a few home on your dreaded last day.
If you're just getting very excited for an upcoming trip and want to plan at home there are definitely a few options! While Walt Disney World does not send out maps of the Parks you can find every little bit of the
40 square miles right on your computer! Having a digital map is almost even better than paper because you have so many interactive options with it. You can zoom in and out, easily move from one Park to another and even see the roads that travel to and from property. From the general map, you can even search by Theme Park, Water Park or Resort to get any details you're looking for.
Also, if you want a digital version of the current in-park map, you can find that online too! By visiting each Park's webpage and scrolling to the very bottom, you will see a link that brings you to a printable PDF of the Park. From here you're able to print as many copies as you would like! Mark them up and plan your route from one end of
Magic Kingdom Park to the other!
I hope some of these options will work for you and that you're able to find exactly what you're looking for! Please come back and visit us again at planDisney if you have any other questions!
