Thank you for swinging by the
Disney Parks Moms Panel, Charlotte! Thank you for bringing us your question about your visit to
Walt Disney World Resort this upcoming December!
I am so glad to hear you are considering a dining plan! You will see it is a super convenient and flexible prepaid meal package that will allow you to focus on the food and dining experience as a whole and not as much on the price.
My family always gets the
Disney Dining Plan as it allows us to book one character meal per day of our stay. Amongst our favorite character dining experiences are
Cinderella's Royal Table, of course,
Chef Mickey's,
Cape May Cafe,
'Ohana,
Garden Grill Restaurant,
1900 Park Fare, etc. We usually start our day with some coffee in our refillable mug plus a snack for breakfast, save the quick-service meal for brunch, and use the table-service credit at dinner at one of the above-mentioned locations. If the sit-down experience is for the breakfast meal period, then we eat a snack in the early afternoon and save the quick-service credit for dinner. Remember that you are welcome to use your credits as you please and do not have to use one of each every day.
In
this link you will find a list of all the quick-service locations and
here a list of all the table service experiences, including
character meals. Please note that some of them are dining events so be sure to read the description in detail. Also,
here you will see all of the restaurants accepting the Quick Service Dining Plan and
all of those including Disney Dining Plan and the
Deluxe Dining Plan. Regardless of the type of dining plan you choose, I am sure you will love the flexibility and independence every person in your party will have.
Please come back to see us if you need more help!
Wishing the most fun-filled vacation,
~Desiree
