Can full face paint be worn at Disneyland sweethearts night? I often where a white base as my normal make up but it is often seen as face paint rather than makeup because of how heavy it is

Love is in the air, Nixie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this heartfelt question. Kudos to you for snagging tickets to Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts' Nite at Disneyland Resort. You're going to have a dreamy time. Dressing the part will add an extra sparkle to your evening, so let's look at the park guidelines so you won't be heartbroken.

While the Dressing for Special Events guidelines don't specifically address face paint, there is a rule that states no masks are allowed for guests over 14. This rule implies that a guest's face should remain visible and not altered so much that their identity is hidden. You should be fine as long as your make-up allows you to be recognizable. But remember that park entry is at the discretion of Cast Members, so be prepared to make any changes they may request.

You can enter Disneyland Park as early as 6:00 PM with your event ticket. That gives you about three hours to enjoy some extra magic before the night of love begins. While I relish a good romance, I also have a soft spot for the villains. My top priority would be to meet Drizella, Anastasia, and Lady Tremaine. They love to be bad!

Nixie, I'm sending pixie dust, hearts, and roses so your after-hours soirée will be filled with love and laughter. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
