i have a full day on my schedule with nothing planned now i am a little lost on what to do i was wondering if there a little secrets/gems that i should not miss that i could do on this day?

    Kristin,

It would help to know more details for us to give you better ideas (resort? dates, length of stay, current plans, etc.).

Some generic (not knowing details) ideas that come to mind (in no particular order):
    - Visit the World showcase
    - Visit some of the resorts (the ones on the monorail are especially interesting to visit)
    - Relax in your resort's pool
    - Visit a spa
    - Reserve a fishing trip on Bay lake
    - Golf
    - Enjoy the waterparks
    - Shop in Downtown Disney
    - Go to DisneyQuest
    - Visit Fort Wilderness (horseback riding, campfire sing-a-long, etc.)
    - Sleep in, and take lots of naps  ;-)
    - Play at one of the two miniature golf courses
    - Take one of the many tours offered at WDW (Segway, Family Magic, etc.)
    - Visit Celebration and/or Orlando (if you have a car), or (gasp!) one of the other parks in the area

Personally, I think it sounds great to have a completely unscheduled day on my vacation at WDW.  It might be best to keep it unplanned, and fill it in as you find out things you want to spend more time on once you are there.

Hope that helps, but also please feel free to write again with more details about what you already have planned and what types of things you like.
