Will there be a frozen theme night on the Disney wonder Alaska cruise July 2026?

    Ahoy, Janine!

Welcome aboard planDisney! Alaska in July aboard the Disney Wonder sounds absolutely incredible. There’s just something magical about standing on deck surrounded by glaciers, waterfalls, and mountains while sipping hot chocolate and watching the scenery glide by. It feels like Disney dropped the Kingdom of Arendelle right into the middle of Alaska!

And speaking of Arendelle, I have some flurry good news for you! Your sailing is currently planned to include a full day of Frozen-themed fun on Day 3 while cruising near the Stikine Icecap. Between the icy scenery outside and the Frozen festivities onboard, this may be about as close as any of us will get to Elsa-level powers.

On top of the Frozen Deck Party, there is often a Nordic-inspired dinner menu, and one of my favorite parts is watching the Atrium transform into a winter wonderland. Seeing the Wonder decorated for Frozen while glaciers surround the ship honestly makes the whole experience feel even more immersive and magical. And of course, getting to spend time with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff just adds even more Disney magic to the day.

If you and your crew are looking for opportunities to dress up during the sailing, I have even more good news! A formal night is currently planned for Day 2 while at sea, along with a semi-formal night on Day 5 during your stop in Juneau. Both are completely optional, but my crew and I always enjoy using those evenings as a chance to grab some elegant family photos around the Atrium. With Alaska’s mountains and scenery surrounding the ship, I also highly recommend taking a few pictures out on the Promenade on Deck 4 or up near the pool deck because the backdrops are absolutely stunning.

Since entertainment schedules and themed events can always shift around faster than Olaf chasing summer dreams, I definitely recommend keeping an eye on your Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you connect to the ship’s Wi-Fi. That will give you the latest schedule updates so you don’t miss any of the Frozen fun onboard.

I hope this helps as you count down to your Alaskan adventure! Between the breathtaking scenery, the cozy atmosphere onboard, and all the Frozen-themed magic, your Disney Wonder sailing is shaping up to be an unforgettable voyage for the whole family.

Sea ya real soon with warm air, calm seas, and a ship that always feels like home,
    Dustin
