Ahoy, Susan!
Welcome aboard planDisney! Sailing aboard the Disney Dream to Spain sounds like the perfect summer adventure. Between the beautiful ports, amazing food, and all the magic onboard, your crew is going to have an incredible voyage ahead!
Unfortunately, due to local laws and regulations, Disney is not currently able to offer fireworks at sea on the European itineraries. I know that’s probably not the magical news you were hoping for since the fireworks shows are such an iconic part of many Disney sailings.
The good news is your cruise will still be packed with plenty of themed fun and entertainment throughout the voyage. Right now, your sailing is scheduled to include an optional dress-up night on Day 2 while at sea and
Pirate Night on Day 3 during your stop in La Coruña. Even without fireworks, Pirate Night still brings all the fun pirate energy, themed menus, music, and deck party excitement that make it one of the most memorable evenings onboard. Between the Broadway-style shows,
the AquaDuck, incredible dining, and so many onboard activities, I have a feeling your family will stay busy from embarkation day all the way until the final breakfast onboard.
If you happen to have some time one evening, I highly recommend
checking out The District on Deck 4 for some adults-only time. I love how easy it is to move between the different lounges to find your favorite atmosphere for the evening. Personally,
Pub 687 is always one of my favorite spots onboard because I can never pass up a good pub.
I hope this helps as you get ready for your sailing
aboard the Dream! While fireworks may be missing from the itinerary, I have a feeling this cruise is going to deliver plenty of unforgettable Disney magic all on its own.
Sea ya real soon with warm air, calm seas, and a ship that always feels like home,
Dustin
