Do they still have the frozen bananas in Animal Kingdom?? I couldn’t find them last time I went and they’re my favorite disney treat!!

Welcome to planDisney, Carol! Thanks for sending us such an a-peeling question!

Like you, I’m bananas for those frozen chocolate-covered treats. In fact, I’ve missed them so much between visits that I tracked down a copycat recipe and started making them at home. They’re such a nostalgic Disney snack!

Good news...yes, the chocolate-covered frozen bananas are still available at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but they can be a bit tricky to track down these days. You’ll want to check the various ice cream carts throughout the park. I’ve spotted them most often at the ice cream cart near Discovery Island and occasionally at the Anandapur Ice Cream Truck in Asia. However, not all carts have signage for frozen bananas, even if they’re stocked, so don’t hesitate to ask a friendly Cast Member if you don’t see them on display. If you’re visiting Magic Kingdom Park, keep your eyes peeled and you might also find them at the Storybook Circus Popcorn Cart, though availability can vary there as well.

And speaking of going bananas...did you know the Savannah Bananas, the wildly entertaining baseball team known for their “Banana Ball” antics, recently visited Disneyland? I’m hoping they make a Florida stop soon too. You can catch more about their magical visit on the Disney Parks Blog!

I hope this helps you plan your next snacking adventure, Carol. Wishing you a bunch of fun at the parks!
