Hello friends, My question is; I already paid for my ground transportation on Disney Cruise lines, so how can I arrange my ground transportation from MCO to the cruise ship in Canaveral Cape and then from the cruise ship to Disney Caribbean Resort? Thanks

Ahoy and welcome back to planDisney, Francisco! I am thrilled you were able to secure ground transportation from Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral and return transportation to Walt Disney World Resort. Disney land-and-sea is my favorite vacation combination!

    Getting to Port Canaveral

If you are staying at the Hyatt Regency at the airport before your cruise, you should receive an e-mail from Disney Cruise Line with details on your transportation to Port Canaveral 48 hours before your cruise.

If you are flying to Orlando International Airport on the day of your cruise, you may follow these directions:

    • From your arrival gate, take the airport train to the Main Terminal and follow the signs to Level 2/Baggage Claim to claim any checked luggage. A Disney Cruise Line Representative will be available in the baggage claim area for assistance with your luggage and help you drop them off where amazing Cast Members will have them automagically delivered to your stateroom onboard the ship.
    • With your luggage checked in, it's your turn. Go to the Disney Cruise Line check-in, located in Terminal B/Level 1. They will direct you to your motorcoach to Port Canaveral.

    Special things to note:

    • A few weeks before the cruise, Disney Cruise Line will mail you luggage tags so the Cast Members know where to deliver your bags. Do not put these on your suitcases until you land in Orlando.
    • Be sure to keep your required travel documentation in your carry-on bags. You will need to show these at the port to get on the ship, so you do not want these traveling with your checked bags.
    • Disney Cruise Line can only provide luggage assistance from the airport to Port Canaveral between 8:00 am - 1:30 pm. If you arrive after 1:30 pm, you should pick up your luggage from Baggage Claim and head to Terminal B/Level 1 to check in with Disney Cruise Line. You will be asked to carry your luggage on the motorcoach to the port and check it in upon arrival at Port Canaveral.
Getting to Walt Disney World Resort

A letter explaining the departure procedures will be delivered to your stateroom on the ship. You may also ask Guest Services on board for this information.

If you have any questions about your transportation reservation before your arrival, you can call Disney Cruise Line and ask for assistance.

And if you have any questions about upcoming milestones like selecting Port Adventures, dressing up for Pirate Night, or packing for a day at Castaway Cay, please come back to planDisney. We are here for you!

    Bon Voyage!
