Hi Tara!
Welcome to planDisney! As Princess Tiana would say, you're "almost there" - almost to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! My family and I have used grocery delivery services in the past and I'm happy to help with your question!
Disney Resorts Collection hotels can typically
accept grocery deliveries and keep them cold before your arrival. There are a few restrictions to note though, as they cannot accept any deliveries that require age or ID verification. When you arrive, you can pick up your grocery delivery from Bell Services or have it delivered to your room for a small fee.
Tara, rooms at
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort do include a
mini-refrigerator / beverage cooler that you can use to keep items chilled. I chatted with a Cast Member to confirm the size for you so you could make sure your grocery order would fit in the space available. The Cast Member shared that the dimensions are 18 inches wide by 25 inches high by 22 inches deep. We've typically used those refrigerators to chill bottles of water and cans of soda. They are also great for keeping some small snacks chilled - we always like to order some grapes that we can use as a healthy snack in the room to balance out all of those churros in the parks!
While you're visiting Walt Disney World Resort, don't miss the last few days of the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. This annual festival features some of the best of the culinary, visual, and performing arts and wraps up on February 19! Some of my fellow panelists have been sharing a few of their favorites from the festival this year over on the
planDisney Instagram page - be sure to check it out! When I attended last year's event, my husband and I made reservations for a
DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert Series Dining Package. With this, we enjoyed a great dinner at
Rose & Crown Dining Room and then reserved seating right up front for that night's
DISNEY ON BROADWAY Concert at the American Gardens Theatre.
Tara, I hope you enjoy a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please stop by and see us again if you have any other vacation planning questions in the future!
Cheers,
Kristi
