My friends and I are going to WDW March 2-6 and staying at the Disney Movies Resort. My question is, how does the transportation work for those wanting to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours, in the morning or in the evenings?

Disney has those Extra Magic Hours built into its transportation system. So if, for example, the Magic Kingdom has morning Extra Magic, then the morning buses (and boats and monorails) from the resorts to the MK will start running earlier. And in the evening, the buses obviously run much later from the Extra Magic park to all the resorts.

When we went for our Moms Panel training in December, six of us decided to go from our hotel (Coronado Springs) to Epcot morning Extra Magic. There was a bus to pick us up at 7:30 a.m. and we were at the park before the 8:00 a.m. opening. That early in the morning we were able to hop right on to Soarin and Test Track. What a blast!
