    Hi Friends!! I am going to be staying at Port Orleans Riverside the first week of march. I know my group and I would prefer to be in the magnolia bend section of the resort, and im wondering if there is any way i can request this specific section?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We're so glad you stopped by with your question.

    Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is a great choice!  I've had the pleasure of staying in both the Magnolia Bend and Alligator Bayou sections there and have enjoying the theming of both, but they definitely have two distinct "feels" to them.  Magnolia Bend features grand Southern-style mansions and the buildings of Alligator Bayou are distinctly "backwoods."  If you'd like to request one section over another, just call (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639) to have your preference noted on your room reservation.  While requests can't be guaranteed and are based on room availability at the time of your check-in, I'm sure the Cast Members will do their best to make it happen.
