    My friends and I are planning a trip in 01/16. With Disney usually putting discounts out at that time, if we initially booked at a Value Resort, could we change to a Moderate one after the discounts come out? Or would we be stuck at Value?

    Hi, Carley! I am a proud member of the "Resort Changers Club." I cannot tell you how many times I have changed Resorts over the years. When we begin planning, we will book at one place and then something will change my mind to cause me to swap to another Resort. Many times, we swap Resorts to take advantage of discounts.

    You are more than welcome to go ahead and book at any of the fun Value Disney Resorts now. When discounts for your travel time period are released, just give Disney Reservations a call at (407) W-DISNEY, or (407) 934-7639, and give the agent your reservation confirmation number. The agent will be able to tell you which Moderate Resorts qualify for the special offer you wish to use. You may want to have a couple of Resorts in mind, as sometimes not all Resort hotels are included in the special offers.
