Hello, my friends and I are planning a girls trip for May of 2019. We are planning on staying in a Disney hotel (not positive on which one yet) and doing the quick-service dining planning. I was wondering how much extra money we should save for souvenirs

Hi there, MaKayla! It's so much fun to do a girls only trip to Walt Disney World. I've done it with just my friends and just my daughters, and either way, it's an absolute blast.

Souvenirs is something truly difficult to answer. Everyone has a different idea of what souvenirs should be. You'll find key chains and magnets and other gifts under $10, t-shirts starting at around $25 (adult sizes, and some may be priced less), and really nice sweatshirts starting around $50. There are blown glass and crystal pieces that will run you $100 up to over $1000.

One of my favorite grown up souvenirs is to add to my Disney Dooney & Bourke collection of handbags. These sweet bags range in price, depending on the piece.

Don't forget about Disney Springs! This shopping and dining mecca is home to potentially thousands of souvenirs. The World of Disney store alone has everything from Mickey shaped pasta to gorgeous jewelry. There really are souvenirs for every budget, and you can even find sales on some things (I got a great one on beach towels on my last trip!).

Wishing you and your friends the best trip ever. I hope you have many laughs and make many memories.
