Hi Marcela! Character meals are a relaxing way to meet Mickey and friends without having to wait in lines in the parks. However, the character meals are at Table Service restaurants, so you won't be able to use your Quick Service Dining Plan credits to pay for them. On the Disney Dining Plan, only the Table Service credits can be used to pay for meals at the buffets and sit-down restaurants; you cannot combine two or more Quick Service credits to pay for a Table Service meal.
If you have the Quick Service Dining Plan, you still, of course, can dine at a character meal, but you'll have to pay out-of-pocket for that meal. (Alternatively, you can upgrade to the regular Disney Dining Plan, which gives you both Table Service and Quick Service credits.)
Chef Mickey's is a very popular character buffet. Breakfast at Chef Mickey's has lots of tasty options and during the meal the characters will dance to a song while guests twirl their napkins overhead -- it's fun! If your children like the Pooh characters,
Crystal Palace is a great character meal. This buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the food there is delicious!
