My friends and I are heading to DW next month. I have 2 questions: 1. I noticed the Halloween Parties are all sold out, do they ever offer gate tickets? 2. My friend has celiac, noticed there is a special breakfast buffet in France, can this be GF?

It's spooky season, Rebecca! Welcome back to planDisney, and thanks for your questions about securing tickets for sold out parties and gluten free options at Chefs de France. I'd be happy to help and provide some useful information for you!

In my experience, a sold out party date truly means that no additional tickets are available. I have tried to grab a Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket for a friend in the past after it was advertised as sold out and did not have success. That being said, it can't hurt to connect with a Cast Member via chat or on the Tickets and Hotel Reservations line to see if any tickets become available. You may want to call or chat each day leading up to your party, and you might get a treat rather than a trick, though there are no guarantees.

I asked my panelist besties if they had any experience trying to get day-of tickets, and Sakinah noted that she once stood in line for Guest Relations seeking an additional ticket for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. The "sold out" sign was displayed and she was unable to get an additional ticket. Your mileage may vary, and I'm crossing my fingers for you!

Now let's turn to your question about the Parisian Breakfast on offer at Chefs de France. There are quite a few items on the buffet that are typically gluten free, like cheese, fruit, and smoked salmon, but there are also a lot of bread items and pastries that almost certainly contain gluten. I would take a look at the offerings to see if this will be a worthwhile experience for your friend. If they do decide to dine, make sure they speak with their server or the chef at the restaurant to find out which items will be okay to eat and which should be avoided. This is the advice given for dietary requests on the booking page for the Parisian Breakfast, so be sure to follow that protocol once you're seated.

Alright, Rebecca! I hope this information helps you potentially get a ticket to a sold out Halloween party and assists your friend with dining in the France pavilion. We'd love for you to be our guest again here at planDisney, so be sure to reach out if there are more questions we can assist you with. Have a spooktacular visit!

    Stay magical,
    Scott
