Hi Marcia,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this question. I'm happy to help you get to the bottom of this MagicBand mystery.
I have always managed the plans for myself, my husband and our two children using the
My Disney Experience App, and have been able to view all the MagicBands and
MagicBand+ associated with each of us. My husband recently decided to create his own My Disney Experience account, and while we still coordinate and share plans, his MagicBand+ no longer appears on the "MagicBands and More" section of my app. However, I am still able to view his tickets from the "Tickets and Passes" section, so I can scan us all in together when we arrive at the parks each day.
If your linked
Family and Friends haven't made any new accounts or recent changes, you can link their MagicBands to your account with a few simple steps. You'll need to do this for any newly purchased MagicBand+ as well.
First, navigate to your My Disney Experience App and select the three horizontal lines at the bottom right of your screen. Scroll down to "MagicBands and More" and then select "Link Your MagicBand or Card." You'll have the option to link using your device's camera, scan your MagicBand+ from your phone, or type in the ID on the back of your MagicBand or MagicBand+.
You can also link any upcoming Walt Disney World Resort reservations and vacation packages to your My Disney Experience App by typing in the associated confirmation numbers on the Type ID tab as well.
If this doesn't resolve the issue, navigate to "My Profile' in the My Disney Experience App using the same three horizontal lines at the right of your screen and scroll to the bottom of the menu. Select "MagicBands & Cards" and then select the option for "Friends' MagicBand & Cards" You'll see a list of all the accounts you currently manage and be directed to a phone number for further assistance with anyone not appearing on that list.
You can also reach out to a Cast Member for more
assistance with the My Disney Experience App, and MagicBand via phone.
I hope this helps get you set up for a hi-tech trip!
See you real soon,
Amy
