I have friends coming to wdw to stay with us at a DVC resort in January. They will be coming in a 40 foot RV towing a car. Will they be able to park the RV on property? If so will there be a charge?

    Hi Dennis,

How nice of you to have friends staying with you while you are on vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Parking a 40 foot RV is could be a challenge. Whether or not you can park a RV, trailer or any other non-automobile at a resort (besides Fort Wilderness in a designated camp space), is at the discretion of the hotel's security manager during the time you want to park the item. Since safety is always the greatest concern for Disney's guests, the decision will be made on a case by case basis. If a vehicle can not be parked at the resort, there is free overflow parking at the Fort Wilderness Campsite.

I recommend you contact the resort you are staying at and ask them about parking. It may not be an option at some resorts.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
