I have friends coming from out-of-state and it will take 2 rooms to accommodate all 6 of us. I am the only FL resident. If I make the resort reservations, can I book the 2 rooms and get the FL resident discount on both rooms?

Hi Arden and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping in with your planning question about the Walt Disney World Resort.

When it comes to reserving a Disney Resort Collection hotel room under a Special Offer for Florida Residents, the guest making the reservation must be a Florida Resident. If you are a Florida Resident with proof of residency, you can reserve the two rooms using your discount.

Although, when it comes to theme park tickets, each guest over the age of 18 must show Proof of Florida Residency before the first use of that ticket to be able to use it.

Arden, I hope you and your friends have a wonderful time exploring all of the special touches at the theme parks for “The World’s Most Magical Celebration!” There are so many things to look forward to, especially when it comes to special items on the menu at several restaurants across the Resort! Steakhouse 71 just opened its doors to celebrate the 50th and it’s the perfect place for a girls’ night dinner!

Thanks again for stopping in with your question. Have a magical visit!
