Good news! A Disney gift card does all the things you asked about. They are accepted at nearly every dining location at Walt Disney World, as well as most of the shops. You can even purchase Disney gift cards at a slight discount at some of the large club stores. I do this for each of our trips, to pay for all of our food and souvenirs on our vacations. Disney gift cards can even be
combined online, so that your friend only has to carry a couple of cards with her.
