    My friend and I are travelling to Disneyworld in June, we bought tickets with the Canadian resident deal. My friend is a Canadian resident, but is a Chinese citizen (her passport is Chinese). What will be required for her to prove Canadian residency?

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your trip is SO close; I can almost taste it. I bet you are so excited!

    I love a good deal, and I think it’s fantastic that you all found a great one through your Canadian residency. My fellow panelist Lynne is Canadian, and she recently answered a question regarding proof of residency. A Canadian passport is ideal, but since your friend’s visa is Chinese, she needs to bring her Canadian driver’s license or another form of government-issued photo ID that shows her Canadian address. She should probably bring her passport or at least a photocopy of that with her too.

    Since you’re on an international journey, I’m sure at one point you will want to touch base with Home! Swing by the Canada Pavilion in Epcot and enjoy the sounds of one of my favorite Disney bands - Bodh’aktan. They’re a mix of Celtic, Irish folk punk and they are fantastic! We love to take a break at Canada Mill Stage with some Maple Popcorn before diving into the World Showcase.

    Jourdan, now more than ever is the best time to visit Walt Disney World. I wish you all a Magical vacation, and I know you’re going to have a fantastic time!
