    A friend told me a rumor I needed to confirm! Is it true that Pop Century discontinued their slushie machines? We are planning a trip for Feb 2010 and are staying at POP. My niece and nephew will be sad (OK I'll admit it, me too!) Thanks bunches!

    It does appear that the frozen Coke and slushie machines are now gone from the Pop Century food court. They have been replaced by tea machines. Along with you, your niece and your nephew, I'm sad too. I was planning on making a special trip to the Pop during my next trip to WDW specifically to try the frozen Coke. Too bad.

    The Disney-related online chat rooms are all abuzz about this topic. I've seen several people mention that they're writing to Disney to complain about this change.
