I have a friend staying off property. They want to go to Epcot on Christmas day & take the monorail to Magic Kingdom in the evening. MK is open till 11pm will they be able to take the monorail back to Epcot which closes @ 9:30pm to get to their car?

HI Jackie. Thanks for the question! The current monorail schedule has the last monorail running one hour after the park closes, which would mean that the last ride would be at about 10:30 pm. Your friend should check with the cast member as they enter the parking lot to be sure of the hours. One option is to park at the Magic Kingdom, and then monorail to Epcot from the Ticket and Transportation Centre. Another is to drive to the other park, as once you pay for parking for the day, you're able to park in any of the parks.

Your friends should know that Christmas day is one of the busiest days at Walt Disney World. Once the parks reach capacity, they stop allowing guests in, whether or not they have Park Hoppers. Please let them know that they run the risk of not being able to get into or back into one of the parks if they are full.

    Hope this helps Jackie!
