My friend shows my hotel and tickets linked on her account. I do not see them on my app

    Hiya, Jody! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy, your trip to The Most Magical Place On Earth is just around the riverbend! You'll be able to experience the magic and wonder of The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration, from the enchanting Beacons of Magic to the many delectable dining options. But before you can sink your teeth into a celebration cupcake, let's make sure we can get your account connected!

Jody, it sounds like you're looking for a little extra pixie dust to help make your reservations show up on your app! I would love to help you make sure everything in your account is linked properly before you head off on your great adventure. Let me grab my magic wand!

First, you'll want to locate your reservation confirmation number. This should be in an email sent to the person who made the reservation. However, if you are traveling with your friend and are sharing a hotel room, you'll have the same reservation confirmation number! Once you locate this number, we can continue with linking it to your account.

Next, you'll want to log into your My Disney Experience account. Head to the Link Reservations and Purchases page and click on Resort Reservation or Vacation Package. Here, you'll be able to add your confirmation number and last name, which will then link to your account. Ta-da! You should now be able to view your plans on your My Disney Experience app as well.

We'll also want to make sure that you're able to connect with your friends who are also in your travel party. Once you're logged into your account, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab and click on My Family & Friends. Scroll down a bit to make sure you can see everyone who is in your travel party. If you don't, Hakuna Matata! No worries! Just click Add a Guest to connect with the other people in your group. Personally, I find that I have the best experience when choosing the option that says "Import from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation."

If you run into any bumps in the road when following these steps, my best piece of advice would be to reach out to one of the wonderful Cast Members. They're a little like real-life fairy godparents who can stretch their wands a bit farther for us, helping us to have the BEST. DAY. EVER! You can call a Cast Member or use the Chat feature through the My Disney Experience app. If you choose to call, I'd recommend calling right when the phone lines open at 7:00 AM since their magic can sometimes be in high demand. If you would like to use the Chat feature, I seem to have the best experience by going through the My Disney Experience app. Tap the three stacked lines in the bottom right corner and tap Chat with Us. You can leave a message for a Cast Member and they will respond to you as soon as they're available!

In the meantime, take some time to check out all that the My Disney Experience app has to offer. While on vacation, I especially love to check wait times for attractions and mobile order food. To me, I'm feeling much more magical when I can minimize the waits and maximize the fun!

    See ya real soon!
