Hello Louie!
Welcome to planDisney, where real Disney Guests just like you are here to answer your trip planning questions! I had a very similar situation where my June 2020 vacation had to be rescheduled due to the pandemic. So I just went through this same thing with my tickets.
Disneyland Tickets are non-refundable. But “Hakuna Matata" Louie! This means no worries. And not to worry, because in most cases you don’t lose out on the value paid for your tickets. Disneyland tickets that were purchased before the pandemic that could not be used due to the park closure had their expiration extended until 12/16/2021. While those tickets are now expired, it doesn’t mean you lose out completely.
While you can’t get a refund, you typically can use the value you paid for your tickets toward the purchase of new tickets for a future visit. You’ll need to
call Disney Ticketing when you are ready to purchase new tickets. Know that the new tickets must be at the same price point or higher and you will need to pay the difference for the new tickets. If the new tickets are at a lower price point, no refunds will be given.
I hope this helps to answer your question and now you can move on to the fun part - planning your visit to the
Disneyland Resort! If you have additional questions, please feel free to submit more questions. We love talking Disney and we are here to help!
