A friend of mine will be bringing my daughter to WDW in July, I am buying my daughter's tickets under my name. Will my friend be able to bring my daughter into the park without me being present?

    Hi, Raychelle!
Thanks for reaching out to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I think I have some ideas on how to help make sure your daughter can go into the park without you.

If you have purchased a ticket for Walt Disney World Resort and it is in your name, you should be able to go into My Disney Experience and transfer the ticket from your name to your daughter's name. That is only possible if she has her own account in the system. You can set that up by clicking on the Friends and Family link. It is probably worth making sure you and your daughter are connected at "friends" with your friend who is escorting your daughter through the parks.

Once you've transferred ownership of the park ticket, I'd recommend calling the "Existing Tickets" phone line to talk to a Cast Member to confirm your daughter will be able to enter the park without you.

I hope those tips ease your concerns, and your daughter has an unforgettable visit to Walt Disney World! Let me know if I can help with any other questions. You can find me on the Disney Parks Moms Panel anytime!
