    My friend lives in Orlando so when I visit Disneyworld I will be staying with her. Can I still get a Dining plan if I don't have a specific Disney vacation package?

    Hi Sylvie! How lucky you are! I wish I had a friend in Orlando! She'd be seeing me often! The Disney Dining Plan is available only as part of a package for guests staying at one of the Walt Disney World resort hotels. Since you're staying with your friend, instead of at a Disney resort, you unfortunately won't be able to purchase a Disney Dining Plan. 

    However, because your friend is a Florida resident, she could purchase a Tables in Wonderland membership. This card entitles members and up to 9 of their guests to twenty percent discounts on food and beverages at a large number of Disney restaurants -- the savings on your dining really add up quickly!
