My friend has the dining plan for her family of 4. Her 13 y/o son wont be eating at the table service places she has booked. Can he still go in & sit with the family, but not order or be charged a table service credit?

    Hi, Chari!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

If your friend and her family have table service meals reserved, and the restaurant has a list of food options on a menu, she will probably be able to avoid using a food credit when her son does not to eat the meal. It is not as easy to withhold the meal credit if they are planning to eat a buffet restaurant. Before each reservation, make sure your friend talks about the eating arrangement with her waiter or waitress. If she has any extra questions about the Disney Dining Plan, she can visit this website for details

Let me know if I can help in any other way for your friend or any questions you may have with visits to Walt Disney World Resort!
