Welcome to planDisney! I love that you can't resist joining your friends for a fun-filled Walt Disney World weekend in a couple of weeks.
Our adult daughter sometimes joins my husband and me at the last minute on our frequent weekend visits, so I know that it's relatively easy and inexpensive to add a third adult to a resort reservation. For the value resorts, the extra fee is normally $15 a night plus tax. (Please note that prices are subject to change and may vary.)
The rooms at
All-Star Sports are designed for a maximum of four adults. They contain one queen bed and a queen table bed, which folds from the wall at night and tucks away for added space during the day.
Your friend should be able to modify the reservation online. Or I find it is sometimes easier to make this kind of change by
calling a cast member at the Disney Tickets & Hotel Reservations line.
Once you are squared away with your resort reservation, you can start thinking about what fun activities you are going to explore during your weekend. Top of my list would be the 30th anniversary edition of the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, always a favorite in the fall.

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin at Magic Kingdom both have recent updates. And don't forget that, as a guest at a Walt Disney World resort, you can take advantage of the
Early Entry option at the theme parks each day. Plus you have access to the range of complementary Disney transportation options that link the resorts, theme parks and Disney Springs.
