Hello, Bethany, and welcome to planDisney where, like everyone's favorite snowman,
Olaf, we love summer, warm hugs, and like you... helping our friends.
Bethany, when I watched
Frozen for the first time and Anna was excitedly falling for Prince Hans and they were finishing each other sandwiches, I wanted to be hopeful, but he turned out to be very undeserving of our Princess. From your question, Bethany, it sounds like your friend is experiencing some of the betrayal that Anna felt, but I'm sure her "movie" is far from over, and her
Happily Ever After is on its way.
While I would like to offer better news, the chances of her being able to cancel the pass are slim to none unless she opted for the Florida resident payment plan when purchasing the
Annual Pass and is able to stop payments on the pass. If the Annual Pass has been paid in full, assigned to another guest, and used, she would not be able to cancel his access. Without knowing her billing situation, I would encourage her to
call the Annual Passholders line to check if there are any options with her specific account.
Bethany, even if nothing can be done about the Annual Pass in question, I know your friend will channel her inner Anna, and show strength of character until her real-life Kristoff rides across the fjords for her because she has YOU in her corner. The Elsa to her Anna. Hold on tight to your friend and remember, at the end of the movie, we learned that true (friendship) love is strong and can thaw a Frozen heart.
From all of us here at planDisney, we wish your friend (and you) the best and hope that the next time you're at the Most Magical Place on Earth you can smile together and maybe head over to the Norway Pavilion at
EPCOT to
high five the sisters from Arendelle for showing us all how to persevere.
Lauren
