Hi Melissa,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I am taking a little stroll down memory lane right now thanks to your question. I'm right back in the thick of newborn parenting; the snuggles, the smell of a perfect little baby, the teeny tiny clothes, and watching the world through big, inquisitive eyes. Oh, and the foggy wonder of sleepless nights!
If I were deciding between separate spaces in two of The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort or one Family Suite for a multi-generational trip with a brand new baby, I would definitely ensure that the Grandparents were ready for their
Grand Adventure with a full night's sleep. My choice would be to reserve two rooms. Then all adults can sleep in a dedicated bed rather than a pull-out, and you won't begin your vacation with a sleep deficit.
You have a few options for ordering important supplies for your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation. First, I have been known to place an order though Amazon.com for the larger, bulky items that you might need when traveling with a tiny tot. Diapers, formula, wipes, and baby soap are perfect for this type of online order. You can also contact one of the third-party grocery shopping services in the Orlando area. Two that I recommend are GardenGrocer.com and WeGoShop.com. With these services, you can also order perishable items which will be even easier to store in the refrigerator and cabinets once you reach your Disney Vacation Club Villa at
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Sally
